Jewelry is a truly magical form of self-expression, and if you don’t see its artistic value just yet – Grace Chung is here to change that. Her polymer clay creations are true works of art, and her jewelry will transport you to magical new worlds that hide within them.

Chung is a jewelry designer from New York, who embarked on quite an artistic journey before finding success with her brand Gracing You with Art. She enjoyed traditional oil painting in her teens but decided to pursue 3D animation in college because she saw it as a more reliable career path before going back to her true passion.

Her love for painting never faded away, and she decided to dive back into this world after being laid off from her old job. She started working with polymer clay and mastered jewelry design as she went along before starting her own brand and attracting over 60,000 followers to her Instagram page.

Chung’s jewelry pieces are tiny works of art that feature whole worlds inside them, from soaring mountain tops to mesmerizing landscapes, inviting you to step right in. The 17th and 18th-century art is a huge source of inspiration for this young artist, so you’ll notice many elements of Victorian, Baroque, and Renaissance art in her work.

If you’ve ever been told you look like your favorite celebrity, you’re not alone, but would you sign up for a celebrity lookalike contest? If the answer is “yes”, you’ll be happy to hear these events are suddenly everywhere, gathering doppelgängers of such stars as Timothée Chalamet and Jeremy Allen White in one place.

Internet’s obsession with celebrity lookalike contests started in October when all hell broke loose at a Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest in New York. The event had to be moved to a different location after attracting huge crowds, and one of the people in attendance was the Dune star himself.

This trend continued in the weeks to come, and a recent Jeremy Allen White contest in Chicago attracted almost as much notoriety. Dozens of young men (and women!) rocked chef’s aprons and white t-shirts inspired by the actor’s character from The Bear, competing for a symbolic $50 prize and a pack of cigarettes, as a nod to Carmy Berzatto.

Celebrity lookalike contests took place everywhere from London to San Francisco and paid homage to the likes of Dev Patel, Paul Mescal, and Zayn Malik. They were mostly inspired by male celebrities, but that’s no longer the case after the announcements for Zendaya and Rachel Sennott lookalike contests made the rounds online, making us wonder what the future holds for this rising trend.

Seattle-based artist Sunday Nobody, who likes to call himself a “meme artist,” is known for his unusual and elaborate projects that included making ice hot dog sculptures and analog GIFs. Now, he is back with another intriguing creation that is already creating buzz on social media.

Called “Dumpster Gallery,” the project saw Sunday Nobody create a miniature art gallery inside a dumpster. The gallery features various artworks accompanied by tiny figurines of raccoons in trench coats, which probably “sneaked” in to check out the exhibition.

The artist created everything from scratch, including the dumpster, the insides of the gallery and its contents, and raccoon figurines. The artworks were tattoo machine-drawn versions of some of the most iconic photos found on the internet.

After realizing that the dumpster looked “way too clean,” he proceeded to give him wear and tear treatment while also painting graffiti on it and placing various stickers. He then found an abandoned alley in a part of the city known for art galleries and left the “Dumpster Gallery” for people to find.

As part of the project, Sunday Nobody created large-scale versions of the artworks in the miniature gallery and is currently offering them for sale on his official website. He also shared several videos on Instagram that documented his creative process.

There is something both calming and disturbing about oceans. Watching their breaking waves is peaceful, but also reminds you that the power of the sea is far greater than we can imagine.

Intrigued by the beauty and power of oceans, Canadian artist Katharine Burns creates captivating paintings of seascapes. With an impressive attention to detail, Burns reproduces all sorts of different scenes on canvas. This ranges from calming seas painted in bright colors by a setting sun to waves crashing on the beach.

According to Burns, the main focus of her paintings is always water, and she always aims to avoid adding other motifs that might distract the viewers.

“What I try to capture is intimacy, and the qualities of the whole ocean environment that captivate us, sometimes unconsciously; or inspire awe in ways we can barely put into words,” Burns explains on her website. “The sparkles created from sunlight on the water’s surface; the amazing force behind a wave; the little windows of translucency that flash within it for a split second just before it crashes to the shore.”

Burns’ seascape paintings are currently exhibited at the James Baird Gallery in Pouch Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Abbozzo Gallery in Toronto, Ontario. You can also check them out on the artist’s social media channels or by scrolling below.

Antonella Positano is an artist from Italy who is fascinated with architecture. Working only with blank ink, she fills out her sketchbook with captivating architectural drawings and shares them with the ever-growing audience on social media.

Understandably, much of Positano’s works show famous buildings and landmarks from Italy. This includes the Leaning Tower of Pizza, the Colosseum, and Piazza San Marco.

However, this talented artist also enjoys drawing inspiration from other architectural wonders from around the world, encompassing different eras and styles. Among her sketches are Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia, San Diego’s Geisel Library, Panama City’s F&F Tower, and many others.

Positano describes her works as “freehand architectural illustrations.” She aims to capture the “essence” of a particular building in her drawings and highlight the details that usually go unnoticed. But while working with photos as a reference, Positano doesn’t want to create authentic copies. Instead, she wants to put her own vision of the subject on paper and present the buildings in the way she sees them.

Positano’s architectural drawings have drawn widespread praise on Instagram, where she regularly showcases new works and talks about her creative process. Continue scrolling to check out more of them below.

Pastry chef and social media star Amaury Guichon continues to amaze the world with his impressive chocolate creations. Recently, Guichon showcased the full scope of his talent by making a gigantic chocolate banana sculpture that broke the Guinness World Record.

Using only chocolate and food coloring, Guichon built an enormous half-peeled banana with a tip dipped in chocolate.  It measures 66 in (167.64 cm) x 29.57 in (75.1 cm) and is deemed the largest chocolate sculpture of fruit by official Guinness World Record evaluators.

“There are a handful of us chefs in the world able to craft chocolate at that scale. Not only is the material very precious and expensive, but it requires a lot of work, year after year, to be able to master it enough to bend it to your will,” Guichon explained.

Guichon also shared the laborious process behind the gigantic chocolate banana sculpture in a clip posted on his official TikTok profile. It shows the chef building the sculpture by molding the chocolate, assembling the individual pieces, and applying the finishing touches to give it a realistic look.
