Leaves are usually considered perishable and fragile. But that isn\u2019t stopping a Japanese artist known under the moniker Lito Leaf from carving them into depictions of detailed scenes that show a range of subjects like nature, everyday life, and pop-culture characters.\n\n\n\n

Lito Leaf, who never studied art or design, started doing leaf cutouts in 2020. After struggling in his corporate career due to ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), he wanted to try out something that would help him turn his ability to focus on just one thing into strength.\n\n\n\n

After his initial works shared on social media received positive reactions from internet users, Lito Leaf decided to focus fully on leaf-cutting art. It proved to be a great move, as his popularity soon surged, and he currently has close to 600K followers on Instagram alone.\n\n\n\n
